Windows 2008 :: Add Additional IP(s)

Make sure you're logged in as Administrator

Click on 'Start', then 'All Programs', then 'Accessories', then 'run'

Step 01

From the 'run' dialogue window type 'ncpa.cpl' and click on the 'ok' button.

Step 02

This will open the Network Connections window. Right click on the adapter you want to set the additional IP to and select Properties.

Step 03

Selecting this will open the properties for the Adapter, Select the 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' and then click on the 'Properties' button

Step 04

Then from the 'General' Tab in the Internet Protocol Version 4 window click on the 'Advanced' button

Step 05

This is where you would add the additional IP. Click on the 'Add' button in the first pane

Step 06

Add the additional IP here; making sure you have added the proper Subnetting. To add additional ip's you would repeat this step.

Step 07
